The Fourth National Conference on Cloud Computing and Commerce

For Immediate Release

Dublin – 8th April – The Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce are proud to host the National Conference on Cloud Computing and Commerce for the 4th time in The Helix, Dublin City University on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015.

The National Conference on Cloud Computing and Commerce (NC4) is Ireland’s premier cloud computing event for both industry and researchers. NC4 is organised by The Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4), an industry-led research centre, funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA, whose mandate is to carry out applied research in areas that are chosen by its members.

“NC4 is Ireland’s premier cloud computing event for both industry and researchers”, says Tony McEnroe, IC4’s Centre Director. “Attendance numbers have grown steadily since 2012 and with the quality of this year’s speakers, we expect the Helix’s Mahony Hall, with a seating capacity for over 1,250, to be standing room only for the plenary session”.

The event is expecting significant demand for the limited places and we suggest registering as early as possible.

The current programme is available on the National Conference and Cloud Computing website and comprises of over 20 guest speakers from industry and academia including Microsoft, Gartner, Inishtech, Grant Thornton, HP, Enterprise Ireland and many more.

The conference consists of four parallel tracks, which focus on different aspects of cloud computing, followed by a plenary session where all the attendees come together to hear from internationally renowned experts from the cloud computing business community.

The four parallel track sessions will cover the topics of
Participating in European-funded cloud computing research
Social Media and Business Data Analytics in the Cloud
Dealing with Data Security, Privacy, Regulations and Breaches in the Cloud
SEO techniques for making your data discoverable in the cloud
The plenary session speakers are:
Mary Moloney, CEO of Coder Dojo
Liam Ryan, CEO of SAP, Ireland
Shay Garvey, Partner at Frontline Ventures
Richard Garsthagen, EMEA Cloud Specialist at Oracle.
Additional speakers to be confirmed in the coming days.
